Avoid direct sunlight when loading your film. 1. Open the back by pulling out the rewind knob until back cover snaps open. 2. Place the film cassette into the cassette chamber, and push back the rewind knob. Draw out the film leader and crease across one or two perforations back from the end of the leader.

On certain brands like Kodak, flip the camera upside down and look for a white dash printed on the bottom of the camera. This makes film removal very easy. Take a small flathead screwdriver stick it into the white the dash. The screwdriver should fit perfectly. Snap the screwdriver up and a flap should pop open.
