Upgrades and Vigors in Burial At Sea. I finished the play through of BaS pt. 1 last night and noticed empty slots in both weapon and vigor wheels. I remember a few times seeing tears for Machine Guns and not being able to pick them up. There was also the Bucking Brunco Vigor in the electronics department out of the way and could easily be missed.

Yes its the same Rapture as Bioshock 1, though possibly not 2. Besides a few and I mean a same few maybe like two references to some locations in BS2, and retconning a lot more from that game it isn’t a stretch to assume Bioshock 2 took place in a separate timeline, though that is unconfirmed unlike how the Burial at Sea rapture is.
Playing Burial At Sea was a strange experience for me, not least because in theory it's the BioShock Noir that I've longed to see since wandering into the PI's office in BioShock 2 - its original FDECFn.
